Stuffed Snowman

To knit the snowman, you need

  • Two balls Super Saver white yarn (for the body)
  • Two balls Super Saver blue yarn (or any other color you want the hat and scarf to be)
  • One ball Super Saver orange yarn (for the carrot nose)
  • A Knifty Knitter loom (blue for the regular size and green for the smaller size)
  • Knifty Knitter Hook
  • Four black buttons
  • Stuffing (yarn scraps will also work)
  • Size 10 knitting needles
  • Sewing Needle
  • White String

  1. Using the two strands of white yarn as one, e-wrap around the loom. Knit for thirty five rows on the blue loom twenty five rows on the green one.
  2. After closing the top, fill the body with stuffing. Sew the bottom closed.
  3. On size 10 knitting needles, knit thirty five stitches for three rows with the desired colored yarn. This will be the snowman's scarf. After finishing the scarf, wrap it around the snowman's body around the middle. This will separate the snowman's head from his body.
  4. To make the snowman's hat, use the same loom that you used for his body. E-wrap around the loom and knit for eight rows. To make the hat's rim, bring the bottom up and wrap it around the loom. After that, knit another seven rows and finish the hat.
  5. To make the pom-pom for the top of the hat, tie a piece of blue yarn to a piece of white yarn. Wrap them around a piece of cardboard, and then tie them together down the middle. Cut the yarn, and you have a pom-pom. Sew this onto the top of the hat.
  6. Sew the hat onto the snowman's head. Then, sew the buttons into place.
  7. To make the snowman's carrot nose, cast on six stitches on the knitting needles. Knit for one row. On the second row, knit the first two stitches and the last two stitches together. You now have four stitches. Knit for one more row. Then knit the first two stitches and the last two stitches together. You now have 2 stitches. Knit for one more row and then bind off.
  8. Sew the nose onto the snowman's face.
  9. You're finished! Enjoy your new stuffed snowman!
